Groce era begins in Athens. Bobcats are rebuilding this year, but Groce should bring an exciting uptempo style of play that is a change from the half court offense of O'Shea years. Next year and beyond is when the recruiting efforts will start to show as the upgrade in talent from O'Shea especially at the point becomes reality.

Miami hosts Ohio State in a closed scrimmage on Sunday and then faces Saginaw Valley State next Saturday for its only public exhibition game.

WMU has a closed scrimmage with Oakland U in Rochester either today or tomorrow.
