Some of you probably didnt even want to hear that or go through the trouble of looking it up, knowing that it couldnt be good. Well, I was curious and did so. Ken Pomeroy has UAB at #77. We've got some work to do, but we can pull back in there. Cant wait to play Cincy and Louisville and DePaul and Marquette and TCU... heck, everyone except SLU, Tulane, USF, or ECU... just to have the opportunity even to knock off one of the higher RPI teams.

Cincinnati- 27
Louisville- 28
Depaul- 35
Marquette- 39 (either DePaul or Marquette is going down tonight)
TCU- 41
Houston- 65
Charlotte- 72
UAB- 77

To be frank, Charlotte will be sweating this thing out too unless they get some other big wins.

Charlotte has games coming up that will definitely get them a respectable RPI if they win. Just like UAB has some games coming up that will help them as well.

I still think UAB makes the Dance although barely.
Today, UAB moved up a few spots to #74... though not huge improvement, that's pretty decent considering we didnt even have to play to move up. I really hope some of our OOC finish the year strong and help us out a little bit. Just an FYI, DePaul moved up to 23 after defeating Marquette, making them the highest ranked CUSA team in the RPIs right now.
Was our RPI ever this low last year? I seem to remember it hovering around 36 for a long time last year.

Not that I recall
It never dip into the 40's last year. I seem to remember the lowest it ever got was like 36 or 37.
