I saw the NIU game on the tube... what were they counting, mosquitos, and flies?
EMU has decided to dispense with the guesswork - from now on, instead of counting "butts in the seats", "tickets sold" or "tickets issued" - they have decided to report attendence as "number of seats". Please re-set all of EMU's attendence figures accordingly:

Eastern Michigan
30,200 vs. Indiana St.
30,200 vs. Toledo
30,200 vs. Northern Illinois
30,200 vs. Akron

Total - 120,800

lol
I would like to see the totals for the Saturday games and these weeknight games in November broken out.
All attendance should drop this month.
Correction except Eastern Michigan they have 17,000 loyal fans.

Have you ever been to NIU? The side they show on TV holds about 10,500. It was at least 60% full. The west side, which holds just under 15,000 had over 11K. Get out here and you can see what we draw. Kzoo is a really big city compared to DeKalb. No reason you shouldn't draw 35K each game.

Uh, what? He is talking about EMU's attendance.
Dear NIU70,

Were Mateen Cleaves and Jason Richardson in attendance at the game?

Isn't DeKalb a trifaling 50 miles away from the 10M+ people of Chicago? Why isn't NIU packing in 100k for each game?
We hold almost every one of the top 10 biggest MAC home crowd records (actual home stadium games) and are at or near the top for attendence in the MAC every year, so why are you riding us on this matter?
per the NCAA

Q. How does a Football Bowl Subdivision institution satisfy the 15,000 attendance
requirement for all home games?
A. A Football Bowl Subdivision institution shall average at least 15,000 in actual OR paid
attendance for all home football contests over a rolling two-year period. [Bylaw 20.9.7.3]
