Its weird, but he thinks Ohio could end up possibly with the Big East basketball schools after they split from the football schools.
Here is the senario that could lead to that. BE basketball after split adds Xavier, Dayton, Miami and Ohio to keep travel costs low for Marquette and Depaul which would be farther away from the eastern schools. Ohio might be more attractive than Duquesne which would also be a canidate .

BE basketball is TV market driven, I would think St Loius, Butler, Bradley, UMass maybe even Detroit would get shots before Ohio & Mia
I thought BE basketball was all about Catholic schools.
Do the eastern BE schools leave and re-form their original vision...and leave the public schools to re-form the Metro Conference? The old is new again?
Anyway, if this sort of thing happens, Kent looks far more interesting than OIHO U.
