I will be placing a curse on the Chips on Friday that to date has worked perfectly, 100% satisfaction. Those at Temple and Ohio are well aware of it.

If this were any other venue I'd have to give the nod to Western Michigan. On paper they just appear to have more depth, more experience, and a bit more overall talent. I could easily see the Broncos handling CMU much the way they did Ohio U, a team the Chips struggled with. But having watched a 9-3 Bronco team lose to a 2-9 Chips team in 2000, I've come to conclude that talent is not the defining consideration in this rivalry. I believe the Broncos will be playing Ball State on November 25th for the MAC West title, but tomorrow at Kelly Shorts the Broncos will come up short.
The WMU offense and defense have established a pattern of slow starts and fast finishes. Look for that pattern to put them in a hole early, and the fast finish to be too little too late.

Quote:With that said, it's a road game, and what can go wrong often does. A well rested Bulls team (coming off a bye week), will take down a bus-lagged, travel weary Bronco team, in a close game.

Quote:Like the last time the Broncos played in Philly, this game will go to the wire. Temple blew out Army, took Buffalo to the wire at Buffalo, and gave U Conn all it could handle. They are better than their record. While the Broncos have the talent to put up big numbers, I don't think it will happen Saturday. Turnovers will determine the outcome, and WMU's style of play leaves a lot more opportunities for them to occur. There will be no brotherly love in Philly for the Broncos as turnovers prove to be the difference.
