This is from tonight on CNN. Basically he says that he's heard the same things (being called a traitor and a terrorist) at Obama rallies said about him. I'm sure he's been called old, senile, out-of-touch, a grouch, George Bush all over again, and many other things at Obama rallies but a traitor or a terrorist??? If he had kept out those last two words (about me), then I might grant him that fact. I imagine people have called his ticket a terrorist or a traitor but they were talking about Palin, not McCain.
This quote doesn't help his attempt the past few days to tone down the rhetoric at the speeches. He just needs to say, 'look, we're going to just concentrate on the issues and the records of the two candidates, and not get into the name calling at this point.' Taking the approach that he called me a name so I'm going to call him a name is first of all childish, but secondly just totally unbelievable in this case.
