How much did you pay her to wear the CMU shorts? She can't be a coed in Mt. P.

I presume that means WMU has no limits.

What's the story on LaFrenchman? Did Brunner play the second half?

Actually, Brunner played almost the entire second half. Chippewas are the walking wounded right now.
Outstanding effort by the Broncos today.
You know, I'm going to have to remove this post by Monday, given the intended nature of the thread.

According to espn.com Butch Jones said Dan has a ankle injury and it is no big deal.
With Anderson taking another shot in the 3rd quarter and going down, the chips are def wounded none of the less should be a great game in Mt Pleasant on Saturday afternoon.

I know I'm trying to bring logic and reason to a place where it doesn't belong (MAC leadership decisions), but why isn't this game played the last week of the season?

For "health" reasons. Everyone in Michigan knows THIS GAME is conducted in an old English/gentlemanly fashion, so it would be such a abborrent shame to white-glove-slap-one-another in such dastardly weather. In common law language, "THIS IS A PHUCKING FIGHT TO THE VERY LAST DEATH (both on the field and in the stands)!!!!! The BROwNCOw mascot knows better than to show up for this game in Mt. Pleasant!

I understand your point but there are a couple of points:
1). The MAC USED to do that. Remember Kent at Akron in '05 on Thanksgiving in terrible weather before a thousand or two fans? CMU and WMU have played very late in the season - terrible weather.
2). MAC has moved a lot of rivalry games up for the GOTW (Game of the Week) TV package. Akron @ Kent last week was a case in point. WMU/CMU is a noon game; MSU/UofM is a 3:30 game. Nice scheduling.
3). This coming Saturday would be CMU's best chance to draw a large crowd paying nice $ for prime seats. CMU gets a nice buck for a lot of their seats. These are not 12 buck seats folks will be sitting. Believe many are 27 or 36 bucks.
4). There are other key games in November (for national TV) such as BSU @ CMU.

I see that CMU has hired a WMU co-ed to model the shorts.
I think CMU has scheduled WMU later in the season to avoid warmer weather (and End of the World Parties), but early enough to draw a good audience.
