Good luck 1523 with your job search.

My daughter's BF who has a masters in Urban Planning & out of work at age 30 since last April has been actively interviewing for months but has been second best man several times.

I make mention of his plight to encourage you to continue throwing as much as you can DAILY against the wall knowing how tuff & frustrating at times it can be. Been there and done that myself during the 83/84 downturn. NEVER allow getting knocked down stand in the way of keeping a positive outlook for your next play in the job market.

Go HUSKIES & Go 1523 & HNY !
Hey All,
I've been a guest for a few months and finally decided to register because I love NIU football! I find myself looking for new articles on Red and Black Attack and Huskie Wire way too often. I Graduated from Northern in 95' and started liking NIU football back when my sister was a student in the late 80's. Those were some good times, Stacey Robinson (I think that's what our stud runner QBs name was), LaShawn the cowboy Johnson, joining MWC, etc. Hell, we even had good basketball programs back then. Anyway, Sadler F'd it up for a while, but I still went to the games - mostly to throw marshmellows. I remember being at a home game against Oklahoma State and the small student section on the west side wasn't even full. Pathetic...but no longer. Fast forward several years and I visited one weekend and found myself at the Maryland game. Oh yeah, it was on! Like many, I couldn't believe how much airtime the school and conference was getting on ESPN in 2003 and I've been hooked since. My closest poker buddies are still 6 guys from my floor back in 91' in Stevenson Tower D. Lastly, I just bought 8 season tickets and can't wait until we get some consistency at QB and finally take the next step.

I'm from the class of 74 and have been going to NIU games since 1967 when my older brother got to NOrthern before me. I've made a few posts but get few or no replies. Guess I'm not provacative enough. But here in Bloomington I get a lot of people wishing to see me leave the US when I post letters to the pantagraph. Hope to see Temple game and Illinois and talk with other fans about those contests. I remember days when I used to run indoors at the fieldhouse in winter and have 3 athletic teams using them all at the same time. The BB, BB, and track teams practicing there. NIU has come long ways and hope it will keep going a long way. I wish someday they would add another 15,000 seats at Huskie Stadium by making a horseshoe or something. [/size]

Hey Harem - No one replies to me either so don't worry about that. With success everything else will come! We're probably in the minority talking about games at Chick Evans etc. :-)

If that is too much for the head fella who converted his NIU degree into a clerical job at Allstate while spending his spare time collecting rolling junk, then so be it.

My name is Boowie and I have a problem.

You are truly a sick individual. The fact you took the time to make your 10th name, this screams disorder.

Come on, it's not that sick. What's the obsession with banning people constantly?

I used to be LongDistanceHuskieFan, but forgetting my password to the boards and some snafu with the email address used to register forced me to re-register.

Welcome back! 02-13-banana
I've been on here before, but haven't been on in a while due to work. Love reading the post because they are interesting and funny.
Long time reader, just decided to start typing for a change.
Kind of like Who You Crappin', I have read the boards for a long time - enjoyed the banter, decided to become more active. I'm a '92 grad of Northern, living in the suburbs of Baltimore, and hope to meet some of you at Eastern - although I don't know how many will make the trip now that we've clinched the MAC West. Anyway, thanks for the entertainment and great Huskie spirit on these boards!
Just joined! '84 Alum & fan since '79. Not sure how I missed this page until a few weeks ago.... Oh well.
Time to roll over the MAC East and hope for a better at-large bowl bid!!!
Its great to see a bunch of new posters---Welcome!
Just joined the forum early this month... I have been coming on here for a few years now but never signed up, more of a reader. I graduated from NIU in 2009 with a Physical Education Degree.

GO HUSKIES.
