Loading up on the Big Ten, it seems:

Sept 5 - @ Michigan
Sept 12 - @ Indiana
Nov 7 - vs. Michigan State (at Ford Field)
TBD - vs. Div 1AA

http://www.mlive.com/broncos/index.ssf/2...ichig.html

First time we'll play all four Div 1A schools in the state (or five, if you include the Spring Game against ourselves - heh).

Would've preferred to remove one of the three biggies for another "Idaho-like" opponent in there somewhere, but alas.
Nice schedule. We should make this a MAC 2009 OOC schedule to get a look at everyone's schedule. Here is Toledo's:

Sept 5 - @ Purdue
Sept 12 - vs Boise State
Sept 19 - vs Ohio State (at Cleveland Browns Stadium)
Sept 26 - @ FIU

Unfortunately Toledo will most likely be 0-4 to start the season.
Here are the future schedules for Temple:

2009 Home: Army, Navy, Villanova Away: Penn State
2010 Home: UConn, Villanova Away: Army, Penn State
2011 Home: Army, Penn State, Villanova Away: Maryland
2012 Home: Maryland, Villanova Away: Army, Penn State
Next year NIU has Idaho, Western Illinois, and Wisconsin at home, with Purdue on the road. The Wisconsin game will most likely be at Soldier Field.
Kent State:
2009
Home Iowa State, Coastal Carolina
Away Baylor, Boston College
2010
Away Penn State Boston College
2012
Away Rutgers
2014
Away Ohio State

I really like the Rutgers game. I believe we got $800,000 for that game and it isn't like Rutgers is doing great right now. Also, the home game against Iowa State should be nice next year
According to AKC from a previous post, here's Ohio's...(at least tentatively speaking)

2009
Connecticut
@Tennessee
Cal Poly
@North Texas

given that the UConn game is in Athens, i would think a 3-1 start is well within our grasp.
Motown, that is a brutal schedule. Is Western joining the Big 10 next year?

I think the 1AA team should be NDSU to help balance out the schedule. 04-rock
1AA is 1AA they should all be easily dispatched of by credible FBS programs.
I am biased but Temple has the perfect schedule.... now
We paid for it this year (5) home games.
The nova game is 30k easy every year...
The PSU game is worth millions in gate... and we catch them sleeping once and its a national story.
The Army and Navy games are winnable and respectable...
Maryland comes in just in time that we should be respectable and competitive with them.

Not much to help recruiting abroad. And w/ Michigan being the only state w/ population decline, I'd think that was something to pay attention to.
The Broncos are having little problem with recruiting abroad. Got a great Florida pipeline going and are getting great kids out of Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota.

But it COULD help with perception of WMUs program in the state of Michigan. Should WMU win over either/both UM and MSU (unlikely) the media suck ups in Detroit will trip all over themselves to explain why it was a fluke and how _______ (insert B10 name) lost because they just didn't play well.

People in the state who pay attention will understand but the media is too firmly planted onto the backside of the aMazed and Blow for them to give any credit.

In any case, it is all speculation at this point. Exciting prospect for the Michigan kids on the team, though, to play both of the media hogs in one season. Has the potential to open the eyes of some of WMU's "Wal-Mart Wolverine" fans if our team wins or even plays them down to the wire at the Big Haus.
