Leica hasn't been a serious player for over 30 years and all their camera systems since autofocus came to power have been seriously sub-par. Let's not even talk about since digital took over...

For that much money, I'd much rather have a digital medium format. Heck, for only $18k you can get a new Hasselblad H3D-31 kit. (camera body, viewfinder, and 80mm lens) That has a 31 megapixel sensor and will have much better low light quality due to the larger photosites.

It's so sad, Leica really used to be a good brand. Now it's just overpriced and under-performing.
