1) Defense played very well. Despite the lack of production by SC this season they have athletes better than most C-USA opponents.
2) Lots of young players played on defense.
3) Defense got stronger as the game wore on despite being on the field for a long time.
4) South Carolina is the best defensive team we will play. Offense made mistakes, but SC defense caused a lot of mistakes.
5) We won the 2nd half 7-6 and ended the game with a TD. No moral victories, just momentum going into the Battle.
6) Bryant Turner and Brandon Carlisle are tired of not starting.
