I was there and mus clearly cheated. What I found funny was watching a mus cheerleader leaving the game with a CBHS boy. Looks like mus may be losing the bigger game but then again the Brothers boys have always been able to run the leg while the mussies sit home being "masters of their domain".

Couple of years ago CBHS thumped MUS in the regular season only to lose to them at state.
My step-son played baseball for CBHS a few years ago. I forgotten the JV coach's name, and he has moved on. But he was tough and pointed out the teams errors after every game, and also addressed the strengths of the other team. Usually took 10 or 15 minutes.
The post game ritual was the same both JV years after lopsided victories over hapless MUS teams. He was pissed because the games were a waste of time. We could have practiced and accomplished more.
"Huddle up." No post game discussion after the MUS blowouts. All players gather and put their hands together in the air. Coach said only, "They suck."
And the team broke the huddle with a "Brothers" call.
I would have paid to hear that guy's post game addresses.
And Wahoo, get a soccer team as well. Allow the Hutchison girls to play, or just quit.
The coach is too good to waste time with that bunch.

Don't forget that the Brothers always win the post game fight as well.

The song "Glory Days" comes to mind for a lot of CBHS alums on this board.
Time to move on guys

Then we have a quorum. Thanks beano and good luck with your team today. Sorry about that thrashing I administered last week.

I actually like a lot of people from cbhs, but I think that lack of a state championship since 1976 is really starting to hurt. Furthermore, I recall THAT cold night november night in 2005. After CBHS won the regular season game, they painted mussy on the MUS field. Basically, it just pissed everyone off. Needless to say, I think we all know how the story ends. Da U got some more rings and the brothers got red lobster gift cards.

I think the lack of an MUS graduate to win th US Open, PGA, Super Bowl, or World Series after 125 years is starting to hurt.

LMAO moron. "only to lose to them" when it counted.
What did that coach say Friday? Did he tell the boys to grab some
Crisco before they have to play them "at state" again?
Actually, there's no need to tell them to stock up on Crisco, they probably already keep a bucket in their lockers in case the Brothers come after them after school......

Maybe.
The best team does not always win state. I have watched 6 CBHS soccer teams lose or struggle six years in a row to far inferior teams. Sometimes in the semi.
I think MUS has the team to emerge from the west, but there is a long way to go.
21-17, I appreciate your rational response. You have the right to talk smack for a while. That is the fun part of the rivalry. Not sure I have ever heard the gay Brothers reference from an Owl before Yahoo. Most MUS posters aren't clowns that lack substance.

When it comes to tradition in athletics, academics and a strong fraternity in the business community CBHS wins everytime...And it's not even close

If I have misconstrued your reference to Crisco, correct me.
Frankly, I didn't know Crisco is still out there.
Apparently, you do.
