I am new to the C and B lot this year. I have always parked in the Convo lot and liked the fact that we could spread out for playing bags and that garbage cans and port o johns are close by. We have also been able to tailgate for a while after the game without a problem.
Can anyone tell me what the C and B lot is like. Especially this weekend, I have company from out of town joining me and I'd like to have a nice tailgate. I plan on scoping it out early and if it seems lame, we will go back to the old stand by.
I'm wondering if it is just a lot where people just pull in and walk straight to the game. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Well, the C & B lot is in flux this year, as it has moved locations. It used to be the prettiest place on the whole campus to tailgate, right between the pines behind the old soccer bleachers (which also blocked any wind). With the new facility, it has been moved over to the grass area between the baseball field and Stevenson South. I know several people (myself included) who are moving over to the east side this year (they wrecked my spot, and somehow ended up getting more money from me). However, I'm sure there will be plenty of tailgaters there starting 5 hours before the game. Even though I'm not a fan of the new location of the C & B lot, I'd take it a hundred times out of a hundred over the Convo lot.
We are pretty spoiled with tailgating areas. Did anyone notice the lack of space at Minnesota.

Wisconsin sucked as well. There were plenty of huge parties (therefore no lack of fun), but no real tailgating as we define it. Iowa, if I remember, is kind of the same. I remember parking on a golf course for the Northwestern game back in 1990.

For sure, it took us a few hours to find a place to tailgate. Thank god they are getting their new stadium.
C&B tailgater here. As 22 said, very disappointed our lot was moved, but we won't hold that against the soccer teams (I kid!). The advantge of the lots like C&B is that you can start 5 hours before kick, as opposed to 3 in the general convo parking. We'll be in the lot at 9 am tomorrow. The other thing I like is you tend to park around the same people for every game and have the opportunity to make some nice friendships.

Michigan has the most awesome tailgating I have ever seen. That golf course by the stadium is so cool to tailgate on (although we went to the pre-party by Fatty's)
I agree with Michigan. Kinda of like Huskie stadium in that there is a bunch of open space around the stadium b/w the golf course and the HS across the street. I thought Alabama was really cool, pretty much tailgates all throughout the campus...very old school gameday atmosphere.
I was at Alabama and Michigan but Auburn edges out both. Everywhere on campus there were tailgaters on any piece of ground
other than streets.

GO HUSKIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
