Okay, I'll bite. For the sake of argument we'll say our defense sucks. Western has put up 104 points and given up 101. CMU has put up 79 points and given up 96. So using your logic not only does your defense suck, but your offense sucks as well. And frankly, based on what I've seen that would be accurate.
In your last two games your top running back had 16 yards and 15 yards. Some running attack.
It's not the end of the world. You can still win a MAC championship with a terrible defense...you guys still have a dog in the fight.

Did any one stop to look that stats or were you all to busy comparing rankings? Western's defense has given up less yards per play and fewer TDs. The difference is that our D has been on the field for 29 more plays.
