I play hockey with the guys that own a clothing company called Roots. They designed the outfits worn by the Canadian Olympic team in 3 Olympic games and also designed the US team's outfits for the winter games in 2002 and 2006, and Greece in 2004.

They had a party last night that another guy we play with DJ'd at and Jessica Biel was in attendance. She was really nice, and very natural. She was in town for the Toronto International Film Fest. She wouldn't stand out in a lineup of supermodels, but she was really down to earth and really cool. If she wasn't an actress I'm pretty sure that she would be hanging out with average guys like us and leading a pretty simple life.

I get a chance to meet people in the business on occasion and it's interesting to see who is cool and who is an azz. I have been pleasantly surprised at how nice most of them are, especially when they don't have to be "on." I apologize for the fact that this post doesn't really say much...just passing along some info.
Miss Biel is absolutely gorgeous. Glad to hear she is also down to Earth.
I am jealous. You get her and I opened for Ron White last week in Minnesota. You get a hottie and I got "Tater Salad", lol. While Ron was funny and a nice to the band, he is not Jessica Biel, lol.
I knew that she had to be cool when I saw this...

I was playing poker in Tunica once when Cameron Diaz sat down two seats to my right. She came down with Justin Timberlake who sat at another table. She seemed pretty down to earth at first, kept to herself, but she won her 3rd hand over the course of an hour and did not throw the dealer one dollar, and this 3rd pot was a good sized pot. I made a comment to her that the dealers work for tips, which she completely ignored. Needless to say I lost respect for her seeing this.

Some folks wait until they are ready to leave the table before they tip all at once.

Not everybody can look hot taking out the trash. Major props.
I bet most of them think you're an azz...and obviously, they can't figure out why since you're a nobody...

I only spoke to her briefly, but from what everyone has said about her and by the way she carries herself; this pic doesn't surprise me at all. She was super cool.

Unless you get a piece of Jessica Biel (which obviously would never happen), I think that Ron White would probably be pretty entertaining to hang out with.
I watch the Chuck and Larry movie basically because of her main scene.

Strat I will have to write about some of my celebrity deals. I had access to several High Profile folks, at a lot of functions. I had a connection to a famous dead singer who is from Memphis. I will have to find a suitable forum to write about. My favorite story is how I ended up in front of Caesars Palace in Vegas wearing a tux, on espn.
As the man told me, stand right there and don't let those chinese hookers get on camera. I asked him how he knew they were hookers. He said, "You ever seen a chinese woman that good looking". Hey he had a point.
I sold my old 64 fender duo sonic on ebay, and it was lucrative.
Ron "tater salad" White is funny as hell. But I would Choose Jessica Biel. I feel pretty certain on that.
It's the zebra slippers that do it for me.

I don't care what most people think of me and there is no way of proving anything either way. Btw, congrats on this post; it is easily your best contribution to the board since your provocative "something bad is going to happen but I can't say what" post. That was incredible.

You seem quite confident that people think I'm an a$$. Like I said, we can't really prove anything, but we do have two measurables. First, I have 87 rep points and you managed to limp in at 11 rep points thanks to that wonderful avatar.

The second measurable would be the fact that I have access to something that you got rejected for TWICE by a combined vote of around 87-4; easily the most lopsided display of contempt for anyone we've ever seen.

Toronto is a really interesting city when it comes to the entertainment field. It is the least expensive and most accessible world class city that I know of. If you want to see the Stones in New York or LA you will pay hundreds of dollars and will be lucky to get tickets. In Toronto, for some reason, you can easily get tickets to anything. I didn't know that Chris Rock was in town until tickets were sold out and I managed to score a pair of 10th row seats for slightly above cost a couple of days before the show. In the last 6 months I've seen The Eagles, Janet Jackson, Foo Fighters, Radiohead, The Cure and a bunch of smaller acts with little or no problem getting good seats to sold out shows.

As far as celebs go; the city is very, very relaxed and the stars like spending time here. There isn't the relentless paparazzi that you see in other cities, and the people here are cool, they don't really bother celebrities so much. I've run into dozens of famous people and they are almost always really cool and relaxed. Even people that are supposed to be difficult (Prince, Paris Hilton, Cameron Diaz, Vijay Singh, Celine Dion, Matt Damon, James Hetfield, Bjork) were really, really nice. The only exceptions I can think of off the top of my head that were a$$holes were Paul Oakenfold, Derek Jeter and Ben Affleck.

Are the rep points on this board "really" defining your "credibility" now ???

Who said anything about credibility?

No $hit! She's really freaking hot in that pic. Way better looking than me when I take out my empty box of Borax in my zebra slippers and pink robe.

I think you're a rear end (the AUP police are out in force, must be quota time).
