Bulls up 6-0 on Pitt
We had the ball almost the entire 1st quarter. TD, but there was a bad snap on the extra point and it was blocked.
Weve already had a FG blocked too.......f'ing special teams is NOT getting it done today.
Fortunately for us, the offense is beating the piss out of Pitt

The MAC doesn't have their own refs anymore. We borrow Big 10 officials now. On the road, we just call them "MAC refs".

I loved that they allowed Pitt to run with a dead ball then didn't reset the play clock, resulting in a delay of game penalty, which pushed a shaky kicker back five yards. It didn't cost UB that time, but that was another horrible call.
Start of 4th quarter. Still 17-16. Let's go Defense!!
Damnit! UB makes it on 4th and 2 but a penalty brings it back. The D has really got to step up right now!

Officiating has been a thorn in the MAC's side so far this season.

My main beef with the refs was that personal foul on Newton when they stopped Pitt 3rd and 11. You cannot call that crap. The defender cannot assume the RB is not going to make a catch. It did not look at all like a helmet to helmet either. Anyway, if Pitt punts there , they may not get momentum the whole first half. Otherwise I can't complain too much. UB's downfall this year will be the young defense. They won't be able to stop some of the high powered offenses they will see.
Good game Bulls. Just got home from the game. My thoughts are Buffalo is a better team than BGSU our coaching killed us last game and this game the playcalling was much better. Not sure bout the horrible calls as you all claim but sitting in the stands you can't see everything that you do on tv. You guys did have McCoy under raps most of the game except for one drive. Good job on watching the BGSU film cause you guys did alot of the stuff that killed us last week. The slants and 5 yard ins. Great game in my opinion.

The personal foul on Newton was absolute garbage. If that's a good throw, Newton gets there at the same time the ball does...Newton was basically penalized for Stull's horrible throw. The drive should have been over right there. Later that same drive, Kinder clearly stepped out-of-bounds before he made the catch.
The second half wasn't poorly officiated, but that first Pitt TD should never have happened.
Aight I have to see the replay of the game to see what your saying. I'm not saying your lieing or anything I just didn't see it. I do remember the calls. I think there was 3 personal fouls. What I didn't understand was how after Buffalo got 2 first downs and personal fouls after those 2 plays and how it wasn't first and 25. But oh well I guess I read into that rule wrong. Anyways good game and good luck the rest of the way for Buffalo.
