The way I see it we need to come out firing from the gates and never let off the pedal, and hopefully put a hurting on NIU. As a team we seem to play better with the lead, and the defensive aggressiveness appears to get turned up. I would love to see several forced turnovers from the D, as well as some nice deep passes from hiller. Also, I may be overrating him, but I believe this offense would be near unstoppable in the MAC if we still had Middleton and running two tight end sets. That being said...

Simmons is not near 100%. That concerns me a little, particularly if it continues. NIU returns 9 of 11 starters on D, but they were ranked 11th in the conference. Last year we beat NIU by 4, but they were missing their starting QB and Britt Davis. Davis is back. He might be the most dangerous WR in the MAC on the long ball. Justin Anderson could do nothing against Minnesota. I think he'll have a good day against us. He had 132 yards on us last year.
