OK, in this era of 24 hour news(ish) coverage, the TV is loaded with annoying anchors/personalities/commentators. Who is on your list?

Here are a few of mine.

Nancy (Please Shut Up) Grace
Greta (I ask stupid questions) Van Susterin
Keith (Dan Patrick should kick my @**) Olberman
Bill (Pinhead) O'Reilly
Sean (I will not let you answer my questions) Hannity
Jeraldo Rivera
Shepard Smith can be annoying at times.
Jeraldo Rivera
Larry King
Jeraldo Rivera
Ann Coulter
Jeraldo Rivera
#1 first and foremost Wolfe Blitzer

Pretty much the entire staff at MSNBC except Joe Scarborough

Chuck (Toad) Todd would be a close second to Blitzer.

I'll never forget the 2000 election when FL went from Gore to Bush. Then the gap closed after CNN had already called FL for Bush. Blitzer started talking about the closing gap and FL was back in play. One of the guest commentators said I don't know that you can do that once you've called it for a candidate. Blitzer's reply "We can do what ever we want... THIS is CNN! 04-jawdrop

Not a bad list, and I couldn't agree with you more about putting Nancy Grace at the top. She was the first name to pop into my head when I saw the thread title.
Nancy Grace is the Uberqueen of annoyance
Ann Coulter....Needs a real good spanking..and some food
Keith Olberman...maximum 2 seconds of viewing before I want to kick
his smart ass.
Sean Hannity....Mister talking points...tune in anytime and hear
same rethoric...day after day...and he is not funny
when he thinks he is. Call in listeners of his radio
show are the most indoctrinated statists in America.

MY PICK.....Hannity

Couldn't agree more with that list. Bill "F*** it, we'll do it live" O'Reilly has to take the cake though.

I'd put Colmes in there for O'Reilly. For some reason, he just rubs me the wrong way. I'd make Olberman #1 and Grace #1A. Every time I watch Greta, I wonder if someone in makeup is going to cinch her face too tight one night, and her eyeballs are going to shoot through the camera.

O'Reilly doesn't bother me. I disagree with him a lot, because he's too conservative for me on social issues and too liberal for me on fiscal/economic issues. But he doesn't bother me. I thought his interview with Hillary was a good piece of work.

Geraldo doesn't bother me either. I've actually seen a lot of his stuff that I thought was good work. He does seem to have shifted a bit to the right since coming on Fox.
On the flipside...John Stossel is the Man!...I wish he had his own program.
Christ Matthews. Hardball my ass!
One complaint I have about both Hannity and Colmes is that they doesn't seem too quick on their feet. They start hammering away at one talking point, and just keep hammering. Meanwhile, whoever they're interviewing will open the door to some other, more productive, line of questioning, but rather than pick up the ball and run with it, they just keep making the same point over and over. Whenever I try to watch them, I find myself thinking over and over, "No, don't go there. Ask about this." I do think they have a pretty interesting collection of guests. But I'm just not impressed with their ability to get the best out of them. I find myself being far more impressed with something a guest says gratuitously than anything that comes in response to Sean's or Alan's questioning.

I actually like Geraldo, and always have. Even when I disagree with him, I find that he has done his homework.

Another guy I like is Juan Williams. The Fox show with Juan and Mara Liason and Britt Hume and whoever else is one that I've liked.

There aren't too many news people that I find asking the questions I want asked. Once again, Joe Namath was right.

Nancy "Guilty until proven innocent" Grace. If a woman EVER disappears, the Husband/Boyfriend was the cause.

Greta's voice is like nails on a chalkboard to me.

Keith "I hate Republicans and Fox News" Olberman

I can't stand Chris Matthews the most.. obnoxious SOB
I thought you were asking about annoying new personalities on this board.

I nominate myself.

Rebel

I can't stand anyone listed besides Juan Williams, Mara, Brit, Stossel, and I can "tolerate" Hannity.

I f'n HATE WITH A PASSION:

O'Reilly
Olberdork
Nancy Grayyyyce

Maybe I'm missing something, but why wouldn't they be allowed to put Florida back into play? It is not as if we stop counting votes because CNN has called the state too early.
I stopped listening to TV news a long, long time ago. Now I just root for the cutest anchors.

Shallow? Yes. But much less annoying. :-)
Would anyone believe me if I said I'd never heard of these folks? Perhaps not, but I'd bet you'd envy me.

BTW, Stossel is the closest thing to an Objectivist that you'll probably ever see on a major network ... many of the "experts" he interviews are associated with Ayn Rand or her proteges.

#1. Nancy Grace
#2. Hannity
#3. Bill-O
#4. Cavuto - His facial expressions just make him look like a douchebag

I ROFL'ed at that phonetic spelling.

I also hate O'Reilly, Hannity, that oriental chic that fills in for O'Reilly OMFG I want to choke her, the "I smoke 10 packs a day" chic on Fox during the day.

Conversely, I really like:
- Scarborough
- Cafferty (HE RULES)
- Tucker post-CNN

You talking about Michelle Maulkin? She's not that bad is she? Talking about O'reilly fill ins, I really like Laura Ingram (sp?).
