A few thoughts ...

1) Church is a beast.

2) Saddens me that BG doesn't have a single mention

3) Interesting that the offense is a singleback with three WRs and TE. Sign of the times!
I know ESPN calls it Non BCS/Independents, but it's a bit silly to include Notre Dame on a list like this. They're clearly in the BCS class.

That being said, it's really sad Notre Dame only got 4 on the list.
Did you not watch Notre Dame last season? They belong on the list.
mmcincy is right, though. Notre Dame is, technically, a BCS team.

I'm not saying they are BCS because of quality. They are BCS class because of privilege. No other team is specifically listed in the qualifications - and they always has been, even before the process was made more "fair" to the non-BCS conferences.

The fact that they only get 4 on this type of list proves the quality is not there.
I guess that was my point too, mmcincy. The talent is better at other schools.
