While taking pictures today I ran into a trio of elderly people 2 guys 1 girl and they were asking me about the university. They all appeared to be in their 80's if not later but anyway she attended KSU way back in the day and was amazed at the difference. She not only complimented the staduim but the campus as a whole. She told me that while she was there there wasn't more then a dozen buildings. The joy it brought to her to see her alma mater looking as beautiful as it does was enough to make my day that much better. I was unable to answer all their questions off hand such as the percentage of foreigners we have attending, but anyways hope the pictures help.

Does anyone know what is going to be put on the backside of the replay screen? As of right now its covered with plastic but still open to the elements. I would assume they would do something with it. Another scoreboard would be nice for fans driving past that aren't able to stop in and enjoy the game.

Great pictures and the stadium is looking amazing. From the artist rendition of the stadium they had a giant picture/graphic on the back side of the scoreboard. I saw that on the last stadium update video the university put up.

Pictures look awesome. What is that giant logo made out of in the front part?

As for the backside of the scoreboard, I believe it will be a giant Kent State Logo (university logo with sunburst) with Excellence in Action under it... thats what I saw on the concept drawings... could change.

Hey Guys, it's been a long time since I've been on here. I'm finally getting over the UNLV loss... but anyways I'm suprised to see that nobody on here has mentioned the vandalism to our stadium by the "AK Rowdies"

I forgot to mention that the chainlink fence does go around the back of the staduim except in areas there will be a gate. No fence has been attempted in the front of the staduim. There aren't even poles in the ground so hopefully they will go back to the orginal plan for the front.

Does anyone know if they ever plan on paving the parking area by the field house? The loose gravel parking really sucks when it rains or snows. I dont know how many puddles I have stepped in.
