Is there anyone that is road triping to the Kent State road football game on Nov 18th? I am looking to go to that game and was wondering if anyone is going that I can share gas money to get to the game.
Chicago Midway to Cleveland early Tuesday, Nov. 18. Rent a car. Drive to Kent. Go to the game. Drive back to Cleveland. Return the car. Nap in the airport. Fly home at 6 a.m. Land at 6 a.m. Take the Orange Line downtown to work. Fare: $159 plus car.
Perhaps.

I've not been to KSU yet & it all depends upon how well or poorly the Huskies have played in the 7 MAC games prior to closing conf season @ Kent.
They serve beer at their games, even though their stadium is real close to their campus. the last time we played at Kent was the rainiest game I've ever attended. Way worse than our San Jose bowl. if you can fly to Akron, that's right next to Kent. the team flew from rockford to akron last time we played there.
beer @ games may cinch my decision....then again.... maybe not in midNovember.

At age 64 I dont wanna be peeing popcicles every ten minutes....

I was there for that last game. Pretty miserable weather, but we killed them. Funny, that officially, no alcohol is allowed in tailgate areas, but they sell beer in the stadium.

Agree with both. Most fun trip of the year. Of course, we pulled a college football doubleheader and drove over to the Akron-Army game that night...
