is the font page kind of like the page where you choose the size and style of your font ? (jk)

sweet -maybe smith and co. will take him more seriously now.
I still can't believe that I'm looking at a picture of Garrett Wolfe on the front page of the Chicago Bears..
With Kevin Jones looking better and better in every practice according to reports, I still don't think Garrett could be considered safe.

Will the Bears carry 4 running backs? That is yet to be seen, but he's got to be the one that would be cut if they do decide only to carry 3.

The next few weeks should be interesting for Wolfe. He needs to continue to produce during these preseason games to solidify his position on the team.

If he sticks with the Bears (a big "if"), he will be warming the bench 99.9% of the time...unless, of course, Illini Boy Turner gets hit by a semi and Coach Lovie Dovie awakens from his perpetual deep sleep.
anyone with 1/2 a brain would cut either peterson or jones... then again, we are talking about the bears coaching staff..........

Yes, and that's the big problem. Cumulatively speaking, the Bears coaching staff does not have half a brain!

I can't believe people think we might join the Big 10 one day when we are still thrilled with a former player making the front page of a website.

Who said that?

FWIW, we will never join the big10.

all fan gushing aside (myself included) im sure anyone who is delusional enough to think NIU will join the big ten and has the foresight and wherewithall to drive it would not get wide eyed about wolfe on the bears website.. on the contrary, it would probably be motivating.

I'm talking about once or twice a year this board has some 200 post thread about moving to a new conference. I'm just saying NIU is lightyears from that.
I may not particularly agree with decisions of Bears coaching staff but using hyperbole like "half a brain" is really disrespectful to men who know alot more about football than all the fans here combined.

This has been discussed on the Bears forum A LOT..I think, along with a lot of other people, that the Bears will carry 4 running backs and 1 fullback with AP going back to playing on special teams full time, at least for now. Considering no one is really sure how K. Jones will hold up coming off his injury, I can't see the Bears cutting Wolfe just like that. But then again, we are talking about the Bears..
I still think Garrett Wolfe's hold of a roster spot is tenuous. And he had better get over that chronic hamstring problem in a hurry or the Bears might wind up banishing him to the IR list for the year.
That looks mostly like Arial font to me.

I hear that and it is BS - Turner for one SUCKS!!!

Football is one of the last remaining "old boys clubs". Some of these coaches don't even know how to manage the clock!

They might have spent their careers in football - but I know some coaches who coach youth football who understand the game better than some of the wads in the NFL.

Turner sucks. This is true. However, I have respect for everyone else. Defense and special teams have been great in recent years (defense wasn't great last year...but injuries had a part in that).
