Anybody see that finish for the 4x100m freestyle relay?!? US came back from a good sized distance to France to win it by .08s! This, after the French saying they were gonna beat the US. This keeps Phelps in the race for 8 gold medals.

What an awesome race. BTW, has anyone else noticed the pathetic version of the National Anthem ? Did the IOC soften it up or something so it doesn't seem so milataristic ? Or was it the Chinese ? Mmmmmm

Are you talking about the U.S. National Anthem? That's how its always performed at the Olympics during Medal Ceremonies.

That race is one for the history books. Lezak literally chased down one of the fastests sprinters in history.
Lezak is the hero here. Phelps et al were his supporting cast.
That was a ridiculous finish. The look on the faces of the French team was priceless.
Phelps picks up his 4th Gold and 10th of his career tonight.
Phelps is 5 for 5 in Gold Medals so far all of which have been world records.
The future of Wheaties boxes is clear.
The 4x100 relay was a great race and remarkable finish. But after watching last nights 4x200 relay I really believe these men are robots. Beating the WR by about 5 seconds, only team to race under 7 min. RIDICULOUS!!! The Chinese are doing well in gymnastics but the US owns the "Cube"...
