Xavier Baldwin played at Minor. He is another guard. Did not take Scholly to JSU. May be enrolling at UAB, because they offer his desired major. Good student and hard worker in the gym. BIG TIME ATHLETE.
Please read this article! http://www.al.com/sports/birminghamnews/...xml&coll=2

I don't know how great he is as a basketball player, but he sounds like a great MAN. He could really help the character of anybody he comes in contact with (sorry grammar nazi for ending with a preposition).

I would be fine with this man on our team!

GHG.

He seems like a pretty good player as well.......

Looks good. PG or SG - how tall is he?
most likely a combo guard b/c of his excellent athleticism and mid-range j. Between 6'2'' and 6'4'' and 205 to 215. Very strong build though my son works out at the same gym with him alot and has said he is in there 2 or 3 times a day working out/shooting/dribbling everyday. Full scholly to JSU but he wants to go into biomedical engineering so he did not take it and wants to walk on at UAB.
Any new on Baldwin or any other walk-on besides Moore?
The Kid sounds like he could be an APR signing!

Are you saying he is a potential walk on cause he is already on campus and debating on playing, or wishful thinking if we can talk him into coming to UAB
Sounds like a super-smart kid. JSU really has nothing in terms of an engineering department (just 1 professor back in my day doing some pre-engineering classes). UAB is the perfect fit for what he wants to study, and his GPA would really help out an APR-sick team.
I bet he's not worried about a basketball scolly. He was valedictorian with a 4.45 GPA and logged 200 hours community service. He will get an academic and/or leadership scholarship.
Classes have already started. If he is enrolling for this year he needs to hurry. But if he needs to talk to an engineering student... y'all know how to contact me.
Any update on this?
