That sounds sweet! 1st game is on a Thursday night right? I can't wait... I'll be new to Emu this upcoming fall but i love football and am looking forward to the season. Not to many people are expecting anything great from emu, but looking at reviews and looking at some info im pretty excited being a possible sleeper in the mac conference. It should be an interesting year, and aside from school i'm definately looking forward to college football. Go eagles! haha

Clyde - you are a god sent! Keep up the great work - hope to see bigger crowds this coming season in both FB and B Ball. Best bang for the buck araound and students get in free I believe. THANKS FOR YOU EFFORTS - THEY WILL SUCCEED!

Just keeping you guys informed, there are a lot of things being planned by the Eagle Nation Street team. They will be out passing out posters and interacting with students during Heritage Fest, all four days of Freshman orientation (including some of the "Life in the classroom segments"), and during the night of Meijer Madness.

Thanks Clyde. Good to know there's a new crew of people who care. We had Gang Green a few years ago (maybe 5?). They had a lot of momentum for about 2 years, then some key members graduated and it disappeared. Hopefully you can surpass their efforts.

Yup, I'll be here for 3 more years so I plan to keep up with it.

Just as promised, the new artwork has been added to the site. I think it really enhances it a bit more!

Having attended games I can tell the new students EMU football team is entertaining to watch, the offense is well you never know what play comes next and there's always a point in the game where the offense catches fire. If you go you'll have fun and so will your family and friends because it doesn't cost an arm and a leg unlike some other schools.

Agree 100% with Cowboy, EMU athletics (fb and Hoops in particular are the best bang for the buck around.

The Fb team has a wide open offense and the Basketball team will run more this season because they have a lot more athletes.

I'm exciting just writing this piece - can't wait for the action to start - Aug 28th for FB.

I'm excited too and hoping our young DL and Blevins pleasantly surprises some people. I hope we remain healthy and those frosh with clearinghouse issues will be cleared to practice soon.
