I am the last guy to say anything but its only 2 c's ... Also they were accepted into a Top 20 academic university for one of the following reasons.

1. Haverford college and Harvard are not the same thing.
2. After the felony arrest MIT pulled the offer.
3. They where found to have lied about all those AP classes....
4. Regardless of what the girl in the dirve thru tells you http://www.mcstate.com is not a top 20 university.

And jsut what is a "Dirve thru"? And yes the "jsut" is purposeful- since apparantly no one from a MAC school can spell I thought I'd join in the fun.

Flipper gets points from me for a comment he made on AZZ today re: a BG fan ripping UT for its player's behavior today so he can stick around.

Wow. Why VE, why? Who cares where you graduated? There are UT graduates that are millionares and have given millions of dollars back to the University. Hell, there are people that are only high school graduates that are millionares. Are they dumb because they didn't graduate from MIT?

Sometimes the debates on here are completely ridiculous.

I’m sure there are a number of examples of alumni from UT going on to top 20 graduate programs, but I cannot personally speak to that notion from experience (except, serendipitously, there is a current example in the news at: http://utnews.utoledo.edu/publish/Arts_1...ue.shtml); however, in the inverse, there are certainly alumni of the law school that are also graduates of other top 20 programs (as it is not uncommon- including myself), and if you expand your criterion to include the top 30 universities the list would grow considerably (because of U Michigan grads). That said, I'm sure that a number of graduates, from the many undergraduate programs at UT, continue on to top 20 graduate programs (especially in engineering and business related disciplines).

Btw… Haverford College is an excellent institution, is one of the most difficult institutions of higher education in the US to be admitted into, and is considered A TOP 10 LIBERAL ARTS COLLEGE (US News, 2008). So using Haverford as an example scores negative points on the smack-o-meter.

My cousin went to Toledo and is now getting her master's at Duke.

I thought you Toledo scoffers were all a little cruel, but I actually never did hear from a single Rocket fan willing to write a few paragraphs about their team. :(
