Coach Callaway was on The Sports Monster this morning.
It was a good interview. Callaway is a lot more comfortable on the radio.He talked about having camps throughout the state. He stated that the NCAA allows you to hold camps anywhere in your state. The SEC does not allow you to have camps except on the SEC's school campus. After this weekend UAB should have between 10-12 commitments. We should have 70-72 players this year and 82-83 next year. Callaway stated we should be better this year and likes our home schedule. UAB is excited about starting the season at home and playing a Thursday night game against Memphis. There is another camp this Saturday that starts at 8am and ends around 3pm at Legion Field. The camp is for mainly juniors and will cost $40.00.
