I agre with him. It used to be fans of the Big Thre used to look at the Bulls as a small successful program but one that would never threaten them. Thats changing and the first step is to try to attach our success to improper actions. Saban did it last year and Im sure it will increase as success continues. The funny thing is that I remember FSU,UF and UM all receiving similar treatment as their programs became nationally successful.

As with anything...the higher profile one achieves (i.e. in football means high rankings), the larger number of people will try and knock them off.
Oooooh, I hate you guys. 01-lauramac2
Just win, baby!

Seriously! People were taking shots at Jimmy Johnson's era at Miami. In may ways, it does not matter. People remember Miami winning.

Finally...

If SMU got the "death penalty", shouldn't Alabama and Kentucky get the same? Alabama "bought" a player from Memphis. Shouldn't the Reggie Bush issues mean USC is on probation and for the Trojans to give back their national titles? Shouldn't Clarrett and Ohio State have some penalties.

College football is a dirty business.

To say there are preferences would be an understatement.

Cuban, amusing post. If I'm to correctly understand what you say, Saban, of all people, actually took shots at USF as far as impropriety? 03-lmfao

I think your on to something. I don't know what it is just yet. Keep on digging stuff up.
Yeah Saban, the biggest dirty recruiter out there and Alabama that has such a high academic reputation and such a history of cheating was claiming USF had an advantage over the Bammers because we could take nonqualifiers. Which we all know is not true because the big east has even stricter standards than the SEC.
Being heted by your rivals is a sign of success. Go BEast!!! 04-rock

That was the best. Nothing like an SEC coach whining that someone is cheating!
