That is for those that have albums.

Two of my favorites are JJ Cales "Naturally" album, recorded mostly in a little bar somewhere in Tennessee, Has the original versions of "Call Me The Breeze" and "Cocaine", both Cale originals.

Another is "Buckingham & Nicks"'...Pre-Fleetwood Mac. Their only solo album.
Lester "Roadhog" Moran and the Cadillac Cowboys: Alive at Johnny Mack Brown High School

A Classic.
Pig, Next time you wanna start a thread here, I'd appreciate you running it by me first. Thanks bro.

Kpig you and I could hang out together! JJ Cale is my all time favorite! Eric Clapton did a few of his songs and did well, but JJ Cale rocks. I have all of those albums. "Clyde played the electric bass" great tune.

My wife and I went out of town several years ago with out the kids. Well the son had a party (like the ones I went to) and things got out of hand.

First my son and his friends found the vinyl collections and played them during the party.

Long story short when we came home, calmed down the neighbors, satisfied the G'town police and grounded the boy for life. His only question to me was, "dad all of my friends decided you had to have gotten high because no one would have the music collection like yours and not have stayed stone all the time - is that true?".

Well I did very well not answering the question but my wife spilled the beans with out saying a word and then turned the whole deal as my fault!
Some Girls by the Stones. They got sued for using the faces of several hollywood starletts without permission and had to blank out the faces. I have one of the originals.

That is too funny Ed. It is getting harder and harder to hide my past...lol...
I have an old 45 of Sivad, from Fantastic Features with the songs "Sivad Buries Rock and Roll" and "Dickey Drackeller" on the B side.
I have the Some Girls originals also plus the JJ Cale one. One of my high school pals played with Cale for ten years and says that he is so laid back that it is scary. The Amazing Rythmn Aces will be at Neils in four weeks so local folks should be aware of it and get tickets early. I have a promo copy of STICKY FINGERS by the Stones from 1971 and it had a patch with the tongue and the band's name on it. I have seen some on EBAY go for over a thousand bucks, lol, and the girl who runs their fanzine offered me a lifetime subscription for it and a phione call from Jim Dickinson(who is from here and played piano on Wild Horses). One of my favs is BLOODSHOT by J.Geils Band because it is red vinyl, not black.
For local bands, Neon Wheels' first (and only) album. Also, Robert 'The Frayser Flash' Johnson's demo tapes album (with a frenetic cover of 'Burnin' Love'), Somewhere I still have The Serpent Power's first (and, I hope, only) album, titled simply The Serpent Power, bad San Francisco Flower Power nonsense circa 1967, featuring an electric banjo.
Rick Dees and His Cast of Idiots - "Disco Duck"
The first album by Sid Sevidge (he was still attending Rhodes). The Cold of the Morning.
the first thing that pops into mind is the skynyrd "flame" cover from "street survivor". i guess if you bought that one right after it came out, thats the cover you got. someone told me that the heart "magazine" copy that i got is rare for some reason, but dont know why or if thats true

local i've got robert johnsons "close personal friend" (which i still do play from time to time) and calcuated x and zavion (both came with my wife. she also has extensive donny osmond and beegees holdings LOL)

i had close to 1000 vinyl's at one point. marrage, moving and time has reduced that down to a couple hundred now.

The demo tapes one is really good. I have no idea why Johnson never made it.

'Cause we got a little convoy
Rockin' through the night.
Yeah, we got a little convoy,
Ain't she a beautiful sight?
Come on and join our convoy
Ain't nothin' gonna get in our way.
We gonna roll this truckin' convoy
'Cross the U-S-A.
Convoy!
The Five Blind Boys of Alabama...Live At The House of Blues
Todd Snider...Songs From The Daily Planet

Wow, I forgot about that album. That album was hilarious. We used to listen to it on road trips when I was a kid. It's been so many years, I'm gonna have to try to dig that one up.
