Trust me I've tried since day one. He pulls for us, but he just can't let the Tide go. He called me several times all excited about the basketball team. He likes the Blazers he just can't tear away from the tide. Back when i was in school at UAB he came to several basketball games with me> (he saw us beat charles barkley and Auburn and Hardaway from Memphis). I lived in Birmingham from 1976 till 1996.
I was at the home inagural games for both basketball and football.
i did not go to any of the club football games, bur rarley missed any home games once we went division III. I guess this is why I appreciate where we are today!!!!
