Depending on your scouting service choice this gives UC 4 *** recruits (rivals) or 3 *** recruits (scout)
Actually, it says he's talking about his call to BK. Could mean he's eliminating UC?

He is a Bearcat. I was notified last night that this was coming. Family announcement.
For what its worth Recruiting planet has him as a UC Verbal, they tend to be accurate.
He committed to UC. Great pickup. The start to this class is outstanding.
Cool beans!
Maybe UC will offer Anevski too.

I hope so. He is really really good. A legit 3-star like he is ranked. One of the MAC schools is going to get an absolute steal if things stay as they are. I hear he wants to make a decision soon. He is so strong and physical and moves very well for his size.
This is for the 2009/2010 class, right?

Yep. Eligible starting 2009 season.

No chance. Elder would be crazy to move. They are located in the perfect place for talent. They have their feeder schools and just tons of public school talent around the school. The problem is they have some serious racist elements still in their administration and they dont do anything to reach out to the local community to get the local public school kids. Its like all they want are the rich kids from the suburbs instead of reaching out to kids right down the street at St William's or Holy Family and other schools in the area. They also have a way of pulling scholarships / financial aid from public school kids at the last minute (Tank Carradine the top recruit in the city this year is a perfect example of that). From what I've been told he was all set to go to Elder and some idiot in the administration pulled his financial aid a few weeks before school. I think the younger people in the Elder administration have been more receptive to reach out to the actual community (Price Hill and Westwood) but some of the old idiots are still hanging around with their narrow minded views. Sorry for the rant LOL
why was this even discussed then? as in.. why am i hearing that it is being discussed?

It was started by some idiot on another message board who has no clue what he's talking about.

I am not sure where private schools draw the line regarding financial aid for athletes. Looks like LaSalle is "reaching out" to the Mt. Airy - College Hill kids. Indy Cathedral is a recruiting machine, very shady.
If you recruit - reach out I think it would make sense to make sure the kid had decent grades and even further if some disadvantaged kids have excellent grades, and can't play ball, throw financial aid in that direction.
This is excellent news. The Future is looking brighter everyday.
I can't blame Elder if they considered moving. Things have gone down "hill" since Ctip moved into the neighborhood.

Catholics take their sports seriously! It is one of the many things they have in common with Atheists.

Speaking of Atheists, I've always felt sorry for Atheists, since among other things they don't have festivals, CYO and Bible camps.

They do get to sleep late on both weekend days though.

There are plenty of evening masses on Sunday.03-nerner
