What: Blazer Talk Summerfest (hosted by BlazrDawg and the Mrs.)
When: Saturday June 21, 2008
Time: 11:30 a.m. - whenever; Lunch at 1 p.m.
Where : The Parkerosa - near Pell City (directions below)
If you're planning on coming, please sign up in this thread. We need to get a count by the end of Tuesday June 17th
Activities:

Folks can plan on fishing if they like on my 10 acre lake ( shoreline and dock fishing unless anyone wants to bring their john boat/canoe). Ill also have a couple of kiddie-pools for the younguns to cool off ( the blow up variety, one is about 10 ft x 6 ft and a foot deep and the other is one of those little round things with about 6 inches of water in it for toddlers). I’ve got a horseshoe set and a badmitton setup. Folks can bring those bean bag toss games and other stuff as they like. Ill have 4 tents put up for shade and these will be set among the trees next to my lake.
Bring any other family friendly activities that you want.
Food:
Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, grilled Sausage with buns and fixins
Beverages will be provided. (Beer, Soft Drinks, Water and Fruit Drinks/Yoohoo's for the children.)
Sign up for Snacks, Sides and Desserts.
Directions:
* Take I-20 to Exit 158 (Pell City - US 231)
* Turn onto US 231 South (towards Pell City) - get in left lane
* Turn Left at the first traffic signal (Dr John Haynes Dr.) - after passing St. Clair Regional Hospital; (0.8 miles)
* Turn Left at Stop Sign ( Comer Ave.) - cross over I-20;
* Road becomes Old Coal City Rd
* Travel approximately 1.3 miles; road forks; (A convenience store with gas pumps sits in the middle of the fork)
* Take the right fork and make an immediate Right Turn onto Lake Wancoole Lane (watch for signs - it will come up on you quickly)
* Watch for the dirt drive on the left with BlazerTalk signs.
