Burning Cash Swiftly is the BCS. It is amazing how little some programs do with all the big spending. It amazes me how schools with much smaller budgets have narrowed the gap on the field between these schools and mid majors. So much more efficiently run programs at the smaller schools. I guess that increased efficiency and better management arises from necessity.
$28M for a football only facility. For that much you could build a multi sport complex for football, track, soccer and other sports.
Not all that much of a revelation to a member of the choir who sings the same song whenever dreamers seek to elevate NIU football to real BCS status someday.
The $ is simply not there for the northerns of the college football world.
I would be pleased with attaining the same level of success most recently and consistently achieved @ Boise and Fresno State.
