I made it a little more than an inning, then I had to give up. Those two are idiots. They are bigger homers than the guys who do the White Sox games.

I have made the misfortune of listening to them before, and I gave them one last chance, but I just can't do it.

What makes it worse is that the live stats aren't working now, either.

yep. it was pretty bad...not to mention we blew a nice lead!!

I agree with LJ although I have heard worse, they are a tough listen. I am sticking with it though...... :sleep:

I turned it back on and listened to one of those morons spending five minutes whining about the home plate umpire making a Tulane batter get back in the box after he was hit by a pitch because he didn't try to get out of the way.

He was whining about how stupid a rule that was, and how Abner Doubleday never intended that to be a rule when he invented the game, or how Major League players would never go for that.

To prove his idiocy and hypocrisy, I listened to one of the UAB-Tulane games in New Orleans. When a UAB player got hit, the same announcer complained for five minutes about how UAB's guy didn't try to get out of the way and should have been put back in the batter's box.

Funny how rules are acceptable for one team and not the other.
