Any comments????
The days of EMU getting candidates with super resumes are over.

This was an incredibly thin field and she was the best of it.
I agree with Steve, the best qualified out of a limited field. At least she seems to have experience. Doesn't do much for the EMU UM inferiority complex when all the candidates with connections to EMU are rejected and we hire one tied to U of M's apronstrings. I wish her well.
I am withholding my opinion but like Steve and HC am a bit concerned about EMU's inability to apparently attract canddiates with a better resume. Not that she is necessarily unqualified but the depth of her experience is somewhat troubling.

From an athletics standpoint, I hope she understands the importance of maintaining division one athletics. While I don't want to get into the issues surrounding Fallon's dismissal, I will say that in my conversations with him he understood athletics' importance and was an advocate for the athletic department. Will the new prez do likewise? We'll see...
Cowboy, Judging from the picture you supplied, I think she was a fine choice and will represent the university well!!! Wow!
I'm hoping for the best. You really don't know how someone will be until they start, when it's their first time in charge. I was all pumped up about Fallon, only to be disappointed by his involvement in the teacher's strike.

I like the fact that she's fundraising right out of the gate. that's an encouraging sign.
Lets hope so. Tthe last two where very bad and bad.

I think you could say the last three were bad if you consider how Shelton manged to butcher the school nickname.
