"Crean said Holman had talked positively about his IU future for several weeks, and that when the player told Crean he was leaving, he made it clear that his primary reason was to be closer to his family in California.
"We were led to believe that this was a family decision and that he wanted to get closer to home, but now it doesn't look like that's the way it's going to turn out,'' Crean said. This is exactly the reason BK did not let Trevor go willy nilly.
