03-lmfao where'd ya' find this dude?

i'm all for the bass, but whoever made that beat needs to google "gain."
haha Dermarr aka Boss Slim?
Shoegazers, New Wavers, and Donnie Darko fans shed a tear. Echo and the Bunnymen demand reparations. It could have been sampled better.

Also doesn't it appear that the REM song "Man on the Moon" sampled the music as well? Listen to the guitar.

Can someone interpret for the white people what is going on here?

I tried to bridge the gap. Actually kind of impressive they used the Echo and the Bunnymen song "the Killing Moon." My guess, the title had something to do with it and they're big Donnie Darko fans. Gangster rap or whatever it is nowadays is garbage. Real hip hop doesn't get any air play, because people don't care about the lyrics. Well they do, just as long as there is reference to; cars, dealing drugs, money, and sex. Oh and killing people. Not that it'd make it any better, but most of these fools only act the lifestyle of a gangster. As long as it's got a good beat, it's all good. Real hip hop, well they've got something to say. I just wish kids would pick up an old KRS-ONE album or a Pharcyde disc instead of the sh!t they listen to nowadays. One gives you some insight and the latter is a head knodderin' of a good time. You'll dig it Rath.
Is it really Maze and Johnson in the video? If so, is anyone concerned how a college student would get so much jewelry?

Roots "Things Fall Apart" and everything by E. Badu get their mail sent to my i-Pod. Years of being a fan of Pharcyde. I'll go one better, go to a used CD shop and pick up "Plays with Toys" or "Not In Kansas Anymore" by Basehead. Blows Phaycyde away.
Call me naive but is that actually the same Bobby Maze that UC is recruiting or is this just a coincidence that was posted here as a joke? And is that really Dermarr Johnson?

i'd assume it is him.

B.Maze's Myspace

Dermarr's Myspace

there's also tons of old threads on the maryland scout board talking about them if you wanna do a little search over there.

Looks like Maze has some arthritis in his middle fingers. Can't fold them down like the other fingers.

Also, I hope he is over 21 cause that drink looks mixed to me.

I know a nice under 21 guy like you wouldn't want to hang out with another underaged guy who drinks the demon rum. And he looks like he would have no qualms verbally assaulting people right and left.

I wonder if Mick knows about this MySpace stuff?

I'm certain Nancy doesn't. Nancy's on Face Book. I'm one of her friends and I post some Gnarly comments on there all the time. I'm OnePimp'nUChoopsfan if she let's you on her page. Later dude.

I haven't heard Basehead, but those are some pretty strong words Rath. Even without Fat Lip, Pharcyde was still pretty damn decent. Plain Rap, while not held in the same esteem as Labcabincalifornia and of course Bizarre Ride II the Pharcyde, it still holds it's own. Will have to check Basehead out. Oh, and you know the Roots recorded a song with 03-puke Fall Out Boy on their new record? It was only on the euro release though, I've been told.
Definitely add Basehead. Only those two albums I listed though. Its a really mellow groove. Put on some headphones and get a little altered ahead of time. You'll thank me later. Both albums walk through a theme that tells a story. At times its fall down funny.

They came on the scene a couple of years ahead of Pharcyde. Same methodology but from the other coast so the feel is different.
