Too bad about the tragic incident with the filly and having to destroy her though. It was a tragic end to a glorified annual event and Kentucky day.On another note actually attending the the Kentucky Derby and sipping on a Mint Julip is on the list of things to do one day rather than always watching it on TV with a can of beer. :drinky2: It looks like quite an event from way up here in the NE.

To take great Kentucky bourbon and add mint and sugar to it...
I think a lot of the out-of-towners probably think they are nasty too, but they don't say anything out of respect (when in Rome, do what the Romans do), but most of us locals wouldn't touch one of those things with a ten-foot pole.
