Will it force kids to develop a midrange game?
I hate these stupid distances. Why can't they settle on an even number? It would be so much simpler if they put the three-point line at exactly 21 feet. Distances like 19'9" or 20'9" look and sound so stupid. I hope these idiots wake up one day and realize that fractions suck and there is nothing wrong with normal numbers.
Krocker I agree--actually they should just move to the international line.
Screw feet and inches. Let's use the metric system, and confuse the hell out of everybody. 03-banghead

I don't care what distance they use. Just pick a distance and stick with it.
i just wished the pro game and college game went to the international 3 point line so those idiotic pros don't look even more pathetic when they play in the olympics. i'm sorry but how can the so called best of the best get beat by countries that don't even have 1 player in the nba and sometimes get beat by countries with average at best by close to 10-15. pathetic
The may be the best players. But they don't know how to play as a team. They're all hot dogs.

Easy...lack of fundamentals (TEAM Offense and TEAM Defense) by many NBA "stars".

Basketball is a very simple game when its broken down...which is why teams from Europe and South America have enjoyed success over some of USA's "NBA" best.
