My sister and her family just flew in for a week. They picked me up some UAB stuff at the Bham airport!!! They were surprised to see it but he said that they had UAB, UAT, and Auburn stuff at a store there. Of course I had my UAB shirt on when they flew in so he gave me some UAB stuff
That's good to hear.
The last time I was in the airport was in May and they didn't have a thing.
One other funny part of the story is that when I got home, I showed the UAB stuff to my 2 year old and just to show my sister how early the indoctrination begins I asked him what it was. He took one look at the dragon and said. ooooo beeeee (UB). Is there something prophetic in his leaving out the scarlet A?

The airport is one of those places I thought might never have UAB stuff.
Before they remodeled the Airport there were signs near the security points that hung from the ceiling that said "Welcome to Birmingham. Home of the UAB Blazers" I always wondered how that set when the T'Town express was rolling in? I guess we now know as the signs were not replaced when they fixed the place up.
Well... I did write a request to the airport about getting more UAB material in the airport. Maybe there were enough similar requests to warrant more UAB stuff.
