Has anyone been watching the And1 Streetball tour on ESPN2. I caught it a few times and was suprised to see ex-Blazer Eric Holmes on the squad. His name is "spinmaster" on the show and he is getting some nice screen time. Not always for the right reasons though from what I have seen. I also haven't heard a UAB shout out yet either, but maybe he'll give one soon or at least where some UAB gear on there.
Eric Holmes or Eric Bush?
Eric Holmes. Played under Murry.

Here is a link where one player calls him a franchise player.

Here is Eric Holmes' bio:

Quote:College: Spinmaster attended University of Alabama Birmingham for two years. His junior year he played one guard and senior year he played 2nd guard. His senior year he led the conference and the team in scoring.

Other Experience: Spin played professional ball out of college. He worked out for the Portland Trailblazers and Milwaukee Bucs. From there he played in the CBA, the IBA and the ABA. Spin was also talented enough to play overseas in both Italy and France.

Read through the comments on his biography

I had to get the help of an interpreter, but my understanding is that while Eric is not that good of a streetball player, he is considered a good "straight" player. Because of his skills as a regular player and "he's got no moves", the fans are not "down on him". I think that is bad.

Also, it seems that Eric has more moves off the court with the ladies than on the court.

He's making UAB proud. 03-lol I'm "fly" with dat!!!
Did Eric Holmes really lead C-USA in scoring his senior year? I know he shot enough to lead the league, but I don't remember his scoring average.
Actually no. He averaged 16.6 his senior year.

Ahead of him was Quinton Richardson (Depaul) with17.0
and
David Wall (USM) 17.0
and BB Waldon (USF) 17.3
and Gee Gervin (Houston) 18.0
and Altron Jackson (USF) 18.2
and Justin Love (Saint Louis) 18.2

Oh and someone by the name of Kenyon Martin (Cincinnati) was ahead of them all with 18.9.

So, Holmes was actually 8th.

That's close to being the leading scorer in the league. Top 10. I guess you can't be the "Spinmaster" when you are the 8th best scorer in your league. 03-lol
MB, thanks for the information. Perhaps he led the league in field goal attempts.
