You represented CUSA very well with an amazing NCAA tournament run. In spite of the outcome, you proved that are conference is a strong, viable conference that can play with anybody in the nation. It's going to be great to watch the Memphis/ UAB rivalry escalate from here on out into one of the nation's top rivalries.
Once again, great job in representing our conference, and we'll see you next season as the rivalry renews.

I really hate how that game ended. As much as I dislike Memphis, I found myself pulling for them.

Wouldn't it be nice if we could get UAB into the NC game next year. At least make a deep run. To hell with getting 3 teams IN the dance. Let's have 3-4 teams make a run at something in the dance. I know Memphis is the most likely candidate to make a run, but having them be the only one that ever does it doesn't make the conference look any better. Now, in 09', it's all us baby.
It's going to be interesting. If we get everyone back, Tulsa continues to improve, and Memphis loses both CDR and Rose to the NBA, CUSA might be between us and Tulsa.

They're still gonna be pretty talented. They have some good recruits coming in. They lose a lot. But they still will have a very talented team. CDR & Rose would be dumb to return with their draft projections.

How about Kansas did to them what they did to us at Bartow. I really thought that Memphis had it with 2 minutes left to go.

Thanks for the kind words. I am still proud to be a Tiger today. It was one great season to be a fan.
