-we must win out (3-0)
-Vancouver must lose 1 of remaining 2 games (assuming they lose tonight, down 4-2 late right now)
-Nashville must lose to St.Louis on Thursday. (help us out, niutbbucfan)

Stupid Blues blew a 3 goal lead tonight against the Preds. That would've been real helpful to us tonight..

You are a Cubs and Rays fan?
Not a huge blackhawks fan, but I could see myself becoming one in the near future. I have been a Wolves fan since their inception in '94. That is a team that is run very well and attracted a big following in Chicago even though it is a "minor league" hockey team.

yea, I am a Tampa fan in all sports, its like my second home. I am down there so often, and I was at one of the Rays first games so I always cheer for them and want to see them do well.
I have an interesting dilemma. I get the Center Ice Package (Centre Ice?).
Now, after all these years, I'll actually be able to see my favorite team play whenever I want. I suspect that my interest in Ottawa Senators hockey will decrease now. Do I dump the package next year?
I don't watch it a ton as is. Oddly enough, I probably watch it the most in the first half of the season. When things are really good in the NHL, like now, my baseball hysteria has totally taken over and I am all about DirecTV Extra Innings.
On the other hand, Hockey Night in Canada has become something of a family thing for us on Saturday night. It leads into Svengoolie at 9 pm.
Tough call.

Went to the Hawks wings game tonight and just had a blast. So much more enjoyable to go to a Hawks game now that people are there. This 1 year turn-around in terms of fan support has to be one of the most dramatic if not THE most dramatic turnaround for any professional sport franchise for 1 year period. It simply amazes me.
Having every game on TV is HUGE! But even bigger is the fact that 20 games will be on WGN, not just huge for the Hawks but a MAJOR development for the NHL in terms of exposure of its product. The Hawks on WGN (aka national TV) in my opinion is going to mark a beginning of a more widespread movement to put more NHL on mainstream television.
I know its been said a million times but kudos to Rocky Wirtz, the savior of Chicago hockey.
I would enjoy pro hockey more if the officiating would clean up all the fighting....which is partly the reason many fans watch or attend games IMO.
What other sport tolerates such misconduct? Why is the pro game so different than Olympic officiating?
I'm happy for Hawks fans to finally have their team back after the old man drove it into the ground. What a refreshing and welcome difference between father & son !!!
I have attended a few games in the UC as a guest of a friend having access to a suite. It IS fun and exciting for even a non hockey fan.
I musta missed the family hockey gene for my skating abilities are laughable. My uncle is in the Mn HS Hall of Fame and my cousin played hockey on scholarship at Harvard in the seventies.
Hawks have the best likelihood of any pro Chgo team of bringing the next championship to the Windy City.
