Alabama-Birmingham wide receiver Joeseph Webb was arrested early yesterday on a disorderly conduct charge. A Birmingham, Ala., police spokesman, Capt. Greg Kosloff, said Webb was arrested in an entertainment district near campus. The police declined to release details of the incident. Webb was the top wide receiver for the team but has been moved to quarterback for this season.

April Fools!!!

This day cannot end fast enough!

April Fool's joke or not, this is probably in bad taste and not funny as it carries the risk of tarnishing a young athlete's reputation, however obliquely. It's too personal for an April Fool's joke, IMO.

Getting arrested is no laughing matter.
