Prepare to depart from any point in chicagoland no later than 2pm if you plan attending weeknite football games .

Better yet take a half day off work and tailgate rather than fight traffic on I-88.

Barricades were being installed this afternoon east bound from before 59 to 355.

It is all your fault Cybes. Hey, you have to blame someone and you are as good as any. 03-wink
I have big shoulders
Take I 290 to the Lake St(rt 20) exit west to Plank Rd to IL Rt 23(Sycamore). It's only 33 miles from Gary Ave to Rt 23 and once you get past Rt 59 is virtually non stop(except for the Rt 47 light) till you get to Rt 23. I took me 45 min(or less) to get to Rt 23, from there just a short drive south to DeKalb.

Isn't Plank Rd the one that has deadly car crashes every week?
Ask Doug, the next AD, he should know.

hahahaha - that was REALLY stupid.....kinda like some of Lettermen's nonsense stuff...what am I talkin about, Biff?

That's my route. I live less than 1 mile from Gary Av. / Elgin O'Hare. It takes me less than 40 minutes to get from my house to Plank Rd/Rt. 23.

If you live on the north side, you can also take I-90 west to IL47 south to Plank Rd.

Plank Rd is a low-volume country road. I would have a hard time believing it has "deadly car crashes every week". In the last 10 years, I have driven the road hundreds of times from DeKalb to the suburbs and only recall two times seeing an accident (both times the road was closed and good look finding a way around the accident).

On a major road like an expressway or 4-6 lane road like North Ave. I would be inclined to believe there are "deadly car crashes every week".

That's always been the game plan.

We must be practically neighbors.
