The CCHA fanals at the "Joe" are a great time. I'll be glad to see BG getting back there, because I remember many good trips and good times for the tournament. It is worthwhile to just get a room and stay for the weekend, and I might just do that except we'll be in Lansing watching the Falcon women!

BTW MU won 2-1 in OT. They will face the winner of UM-MSU.

Michi-Goon beat the Wild-Gnats of NMU 6-4.
MU v UM in the finals. It's the battle of the Rorschach Test!

And Michigan won last night, 2-1 over Miami. Michigan will be the Number 1 seed in the NCAA Tourny.

Actually both Michigan and Miami will be #1 seeds. The CCHA championship really had no impact on that. Obviously, Michigan gets the higher overall rating and theoretically the lesser opponent and better location.

Good luck Miami!

Miami and Michigan should both win their first round games fairly easily.
Michigan ought to make it past their second game fairly easily too, but Miami is probably going to have to win a tough one in the regional final to get to the Frozen Four. (The other 2 CCHA teams, Notre Dame and Michigan State, are going to need a miracle to advance past this weekend.)
All of this week's tournament games will be on ESPNU.
I think Miami's game is scheduled to be live at 4pm on Saturday March 29 on ESPNU for anyone who wants to watch.
