Whale of a game and a heck of a finish. Well, it looks like the MAC and Cleveland got what they wanted: a Kent St. vs. Akron final.

Great game.

Its a shame us folks in NY were unable to catch the game on tv, sounded like a dandy. Hoping for a great one tomorrow.

Tomorrow's game will be a fantastic showcase for the MAC.

I'm sure many in the country are going to tune in to see if Kent stumbles in the finals. What they are going to see is a big time crowd at a big time venue and a very competitive game.

Congratulations to Kent, they played a hell of a game.

Kent State vs. Akron is going to be a very fun MAC Championship game to attend.

Watching those two teams play in the semi-finals last year was a blast. The Q was packed and it was loud!

Kent State is now up to 24 in the RPI, looking very strong.

If Akron wins their RPI will jump from 76 to about 65 or so.

Kent State with a loss will still have an RPI of 30, for losing to a 24-9 Akron team won't be such a bad loss.

This Bobcat was very proud of both Miami and Kent State tonite for such a great game. Two teams put it all on the floor. If your a basetball fan reguardless of the team you support you had to love that kind of game. No question Kent State is in the dance. Miami is one dam good basketball team. They have the most heart in the MAC of any team with perhaps the exception of Kent State. Two jedi warriors doing battle tonite in a classic MAC tournament game. Akron vs Kent State. Round number III. Does Kent State take it all or does Akron get the revenge and the auto-matic bid. Miami is gonna be playing in a tournament.....how does the NIT or the CBI pass on them...they are a top 50 team when healthy. WMU also should be a look for CBI tournament.

These teams slugged it out for 40 minutes but picked each other up and went back at it. At the end of the game, the image I'll take away from it was Q and Tyler Dierkers walking off together with both arms around each other. What a battle they had. Great ball game.
