I posted some addition information that makes it appear at least UK may have dropped out from the chase.
It appears to be Cincy, UT and Louisville. If he wants PT and media splash. I think going to UC offers him the most in terms of showing his impact.

Ha....no bias there. I hope you are right.
Louisville would not offer him much playing time. They have nearly everyone coming back, especially at the positions Hopson would play.
It has to be UT or UC.
Does that mean Miss St has been eliminated or at least fallen out of true consideration?
UK is definitely still in the race for Hopson. They aren't the leader or a lock to get him like their fans would make it seem... but he's their top target. I just wonder how much Gillispie really wants him (rumored to have not gone after him that hard because he's not his type of player), and how much pressure he feels from the blue bloods to land the next star from the bluegrass. After the career Lofton had, you know UK fans don't want to see that happen again!

I am usually very pessimistic about Tennessee closing on any big-time players just because they never seem to be able to do it (with the only exception being the 06 recruiting class when they got Ramar Smith, Chism and Crews) but I will be very very surprised if Hopson signs anywhere but Tennessee.... JMO.
