Ohio up 5-0 on first two shots. This should be good.
Ohio jumped out to a 10-1 lead but Bramos hit a three to pull them back to 10-6.
It's a good game, both sides making plays. Can't ask for more than that.
Miami leads at half 39-35. Pretty well played game, so far. Tillman has reappeared for the Bobcats offensively. Miami has looked good but I wonder if their inability to keep the tempo slow will bite them in the end.
Yeah, you can TELL Charlie isn't there. DB LOVES himself some Charlie Ball. Oh well, Wazoo is on, I'll watch them.
I knew today was gonna be a bad one. Minnoy was a major reason why we beat Akron at Rose because Wood just couldn't guard him. Unfortunately, Minnoy was at home and Wood still made the trip. Wood is great on offense but in my opinion, subpar on defense, especially after the knee injury. I think Joe could really give him hell tomorrow.
So is it true, is Minnoy done?
the announcers today said Minnoy was kicked off the team.
Man is Bramos clutch. Miami has been maintaining a 4 point lead.
This Miami team can just flat out play some ball.

Also, Bubba Walther has to be the biggest looking geek in the league...but that boy can play some round ball with the best of them.
7 point lead for Miami and time is dwindling away. Ohio still has fouls to give. I'm impressed and have been all season with the soft touch around the rim by Dierker and Pollitz, even though TP is struggling tonight.

This has been probably the best game of the day - and these two schools hate each other.

2:49 remaining and Miami leads 63-56. Leon has missed 4 of his last 5 FTs.
No idea on Minnoy. I hope he sticks around and straightens up. He could be a dominant force in this league if he plays to his potential.
Miami 74
Ohio 61 Final

The Redhawks will be a very tough out for anybody if they play like they did tonight.
Bramos - player of the game with 23.

Ohio was held in the 39% range shooting in the second half.

I don't see the effort in his game.
I sure hope inspired basketball wins out over superior talent against the Flashes tomorrow.
That lack of effort is what makes that IF so much bigger. Against Akron, at Rose, he took Wood to the cleaners. Unfortunately, that effort only showed up about 10 times in a 30 game season.
I doubt that Miami can shoot that well two games in a row. They were pretty darn hot. But at least we could hope that the two of them go 3 OTs and totally wear each other out.
He's not the first guy to let everyone down, I remember a WMU guy back in the eighties, a Chitown area kid, that totally let us down. Much like this guy has you.

In the several times I saw him play, he seemed to take too many possessions off.
I think for him with that natural ability, JC was the WORST thing he could have done. Just sayin...
