Lunardi has Illinois State as an 11 seed. They lost by 30 to DRAKE in the conference finals and they get an 11 seed! We lose by 38 to the #2 team and we no longer have a shot.

I really believe if we win convincingly in quarters and semis and then play well (win or lose) against Memphis, we have as good of an argument as most on the bubble.

Part of us dropping out has to do with UTEP falling out of the Top 100. As much as playing (and beating) Houston again would help RPI and perception, it's probably in our best interest for UTEP to win tomorrow and get back into the Top 100. A win over UTEP in the semis would hopefully not drop them out of the Top 100 and would bring us up from 2 Top 100 wins to 5.

I agree with that. Beating UTEP in semis probably keeps them in top 100. We would have a road, neutral and home win versus them. Houston and Kentucky would be the other two.
